Thank you for your interest in TVC’s 2022 Christmas Missions Project. This is our fifth year collecting items which are current and specific needs of some of the local organizations that TVC supports financially. This is a wonderful way to love our neighbors and to help meet some practical needs. 

How It Works:

Men of Valor provides Aftercare and Re-entry services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Research shows that, without intervention, 70% of inmates’ children end up in prison. This year TVC is providing children’s Bibles, small games, and gift cards to be used to purchase gifts for the children of men currently in prison or in the residential Aftercare program.

Nashville Rescue Mission

Nashville Rescue Mission seeks to help the hurting of Middle Tennessee by offering food, clothing and shelter to the homeless and recovery programs to those enslaved by life-degrading problems. Their goal is to help people know the saving grace of Jesus and, through Him, to gain wisdom for living, find fulfillment in life, and become a positive part of the community. INGLEWOOD ELEMENTARY school

Inglewood Elementary School serves a large number of children whose families are economically challenged. For the sixth year in a row, TVC Kids will be collecting non-perishable food items for Holiday Food Boxes which will be sent home for Christmas with 50 of the neediest families at Inglewood Elementary School. We need 50 individuals to purchase $50 Kroger gift cards that we will place in the Holiday Food Boxes to help the family pay for their turkey/ham/protein.

Justice & Mercy International exists to make justice personal for the poor, the orphaned and the forgotten of the world. JMI primarily works in Moldova in Eastern Europe and in the Amazon region of Brazil. They do their work through programs that have the Good News of Jesus at their core. For more information about Justice & Mercy International visit justiceandmercy.org.

This year TVC is helping JMI provide Emergency Food Bags and Heat for families in Moldova who are having a hard time making ends meet. Moldovans are experiencing a 37% increase in food costs and a 35% increase in heating costs due in part to Russia’s war with Ukraine (which shares a border with Moldova),
broken supply chains, and energy insecurities. With an average take home pay of $429/month, these increases are staggering.

Legacy Mission Village is a ministry founded by refugees for refugees. They provide hope and healing to refugees in the Middle Tennessee area by empowering them with education and skills to achieve stability and therefore facilitating successful integration into American society. Holiday outing for trafficking survivors at ICE! Opryland

SUPPORTING

END SLAVERY TN

End Slavery Tennessee’s mission is to nurture survivor healing and to strategically combat human trafficking in Tennessee. They provide specialized case management and comprehensive aftercare for trafficking survivors and tactically address the problem through advocacy, prevention and training of front-line professionals. This year TVC is providing Visa gift cards which will be used to provide a fun event for survivors, many of whom grew up way too fast. Survivors will be going on a group outing to ICE! at Opryland.
