At Home with TVC: Join Us Exclusively Online

As part of our continued effort to exercise caution and discernment, we will be hosting services exclusively online through the coming weeks. Simply visit thevillagechapel.com on Sunday morning at any time to stream the service from your own home. Learn more about how to stream our services here.

During this time, Pastor Jim has been sharing brief daily devotions highlighting some of his favorite readings and teachings. You can follow @tvcnashville or @pastorjimtvc on Instagram, or view all of these videos by clicking here. Mrs. Jamie is also sharing daily readings and notes of encouragement for our TVC Kids. Follow @tvckidsnashville on Instagram to view these daily updates.

Please continue checking our website for further updates. We also encourage you to check in with your Small Groups or Class leaders on any plans to meet digitally during this time. Watch for additional information coming soon on how you can join these groups and classes.

We are adapting our events, programming and groups to virtual gatherings as much as possible. Stay tuned for additional information. For now, there will be no on-site programming or events until further notice.

Biblical Thinking: Is God In Control?

In seasons of difficulty and uncertainty, we often question God’s sovereignty. Whether we prosper or face uncertainty or adversity, the Christian response should not include pride, panic, or self-pity, but gratitude and faith in God. In the follow-up to his message “My Times Are In His Hands”, Alistair Begg examines the responsibilities of believers as we submit to the will of God. This timely message will be the theme of our next First Wednesdays: Biblical Thinking. Join us remotely as we gather together for this unique streaming-only First Wednesdays event. Simply thevillagechapel.com on April 1 at 6:30pm to view this live event.

If you were unable to join us for our March event Biblical Thinking: Why Does God Care Who I Sleep With? featuring Sam Allberry, you can view his talk and Q&A below.

Good Friday & Easter Services

Our Good Friday services have become a special tradition over the years as we reflect on the ultimate sacrifice made by our Savior. These silent services include a time of reflection, prayer and communion. While we will be unable to meet physically at either of our campuses, we do hope you’ll plan to join us on Friday, April 10 via online streaming for this service. We will also worship together on Easter Sunday exclusively at thevillagechapel.com. Please stay tuned to thevillagechapel.com for additional information in the coming weeks.

Annual Easter Lily Tradition

While we continue to adapt our programming to ensure the health and safety of our congregation, we invite you to recreate our Easter Lily tradition at The Village Chapel from your own home. Consider alternate ideas such as selecting a plant or flower from your garden and place it on a table in your home in remembrance of a loved one to serve as a symbol of remembrance of loved ones who have passed. The collection of Easter lilies in our Chapels has become a special tradition for us over the years and we hope you’ll continue to join us this year in a way unique to your family.

TVC Women’s Staytreat: Registration Open

In our fast-paced world filled with distractions and demands, how can we break through the noise to grow in our faith and relationships? We invite women of all ages to join us for our upcoming “Staytreat: Seeking Shalom: Restoring Balance in a Culture of Distraction”. Make plans to join us on May 2 from 9:30am-5pm at our Hillsboro Village Campus as we enjoy community and fellowship with one another. The day will feature live teaching, break-out sessions, musical worship and more.

At this time, we are working on plans for our Women’s Staytreat to adapt our event according to the current CDC guidelines. Please stay tuned for additional information or email [email protected] with questions. We so look forward to being together with you again, as soon as it is advisable!

TVC Lent Devotional

During the upcoming season of Lent, we are inviting our TVC family to join us in a unique form of observance. Rather than a season of denial and fasting, we will focus on celebrating the gifts and resources of our faith, secured for us by Christ’s death and resurrection through daily prayers and readings. Simply stop by the Info Table this Sunday at the Hillsboro Village Campus or the table at the back of the Chapel at the East Nashville Campus to pick up your TVC Lent Devotional.
