Our Care Ministry exists to meet the practical and spiritual needs of our congregation through prayer, groups and classes, and connection to community resources and counseling.

Meals

Our Meals Team shows the love of Christ to our local congregation through hospitality by
preparing and delivering meals to those who are ill, recovering from illness or surgery, grieving, or welcoming a new baby.

Mercy

Our Mercy Team volunteers at memorial services and celebrations of life—directing guests in the parking lot to handicap and accessible entrances, welcoming guests to our building, assisting with programs and signing the guest book, answering questions, and more.

Care

Our Care Team visits and ministers to those who are hospitalized, recovering at home, or
homebound—loving our congregants in seasons of illness, recovery, isolation, or at end-of-life.

Prayer Ministry

It’s our privilege to pray with you and for you. When you submit your request you are able to let us know how public or private you wish your prayer request to be. We will do our best to retain the essence of your request, but we may need to edit it for length, content or in an effort to protect the privacy of those involved. On the rare occasion TVC leadership feels the need to omit a request from the published email or service prayers, be assured that the leaders will commit to pray for that request personally.

Counseling Resources

At various points in our lives, issues may arise or emotions may surface that require more help than our church staff can provide. Find information and resources related to pastoral and clinical counseling below.

Counseling

The Village Chapel refers to the following local counseling partners, who offer financial assistance in the form of an income-based sliding scale. If you are in need of pastoral or clinical counseling services, feel free to contact [email protected] to be connected to a trained staff member who can help make a referral based on particular needs.

These counseling resources are not officially connected to the ministry of The Village Chapel, but are accessible and affordable resources for you to consider. The Village Chapel refers to these Counseling Centers on a regular basis.

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.

Care & Equip

TVC regularly offers a 12-week semester of Care & Equip, offering multiple group courses designed to care for and further equip our congregation and community. Sunday evenings, we offer classes like GriefShare, DivorceCare, In Love & Loss and classes on Faith & Work and Aging & End of Life. Find current courses.
