Call To Worship
Let God Be Honored
Praise and honor wait for You, oh God,
And to render them is my noblest endeavor. Worship is due from all Your creatures,
for all Your works display Your attributes and declare Your glory!
The sea and dry land,
the winter cold and summer heat, Morning light and evening shade, all are filled with Your presence!
You are King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
At Your pleasure empires rise and fall;
All Your works praise You and all Your saints bless You. Let me be numbered with the ancient ones.
Let me resemble them in character and condition.
Let me sit with them at the feet of Jesus
with an open heart and a listening ear.
May my faith be rooted in Your Word,
My understanding informed by Your Spirit. May my affections be holy and heavenly,
May my motives be simple and pure.
As I give You my heart, let me be wholly Thine.
