Call To Worship: Who is like you, O Lord?

Leader: The word of the Lord is upright, And all his work is done in faithfulness.
People: He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.
Leader: Who is like you, O Lord, Majestic in holiness, Awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?
People: You will return in power and glory, To set all things right, And to make all things new!
Leader: Who is like you, O Lord, Majestic in holiness, Awesome in glorious deeds?
All: Hallelujah! For the Lord our God The Almighty reigns!

Prayer: Johann Arndt

Ah, Lord, to whom all hearts are open, You can pilot the ship of my soul far better than I can. Do not let me be carried hither and thither by wandering thoughts, but, forgetting all else, let me see and hear You alone. Renew my spirit; kindle in me Your light, that it may shine within me, and my heart may burn in love and adoration for You. Let Your Holy Spirit dwell in me continually, and make me Your temple and sanctuary. Fill me with Your love and light and life, with devout and heavenly thoughts, with comfort and strength, with joy and peace.

Creed: What is our only hope?

Leader: What is your only comfort in life and death?
People: That I am not my own, but belong- body and soul, in life and in death-to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.
Leader: What is the chief end of man?
People: Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.
Leader: What rule has God given to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy him?
People: The Word of God, which is contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, is the only rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy him.
