My soul magnifies the Lord
And my Spirit rejoices in God my Savior!
For the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we have seen His glory:
glory as of the only Son from the Father,
full of grace and truth.

Most merciful God,
we confess that we have sinned against You this day, in thought, word, and deed;

We have not loved You with our whole hearts;

We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.
