Join us for Creative Thinking, an evening with modern hymn writer Keith Getty. Kim Thomas hosts a conversation focusing primarily on the creative process surrounding The Sing! Hymnal project that is being released by Crossway in fall 2025.
A native of Northern Ireland, Keith is a composer and hymn writer. He is perhaps best known for co-authoring the modern hymn “In Christ Alone” with Stuart Townend. Keith and his wife, Kristyn, are passionate about blending theological depth with singable melodies that resonate across generations. Together, they lead Getty Music, an organization that fosters Christ-centered hymnody through songwriting and global events like the annual Sing! Conference. Their hymns are sung by over 100 million people annually in diverse styles ranging from classical to folk. Keith is the first contemporary Christian musician to receive an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his contributions to music and hymnody.
