Village of Hope

Compelled by a God-centered heart for orphans, Village of Hope (VOH) rescues the lives of former child soldiers, sex slaves and their younger siblings orphaned by war. VOH provides a safe haven for healing and hope for a future through outreach ministries of food, education, counseling, residential homes and micro-economic projects.

Covid-19 Crisis:
Covid-19 is causing great fear in the hearts of the Ugandan people due to the previous Ebola outbreak and past wars. Starvation is a reality in the north Ugandan area — during the current lockdown, food is not readily available or accessible. The VOH children have been displaced to homesteads with older relatives, many of which are quite old and ill with HIV or AIDS. There are over 700 children on Village of Hope’s waiting list — many of these children are considered “head of household” as the older child cares for his/her younger siblings.

How You Can Help:

A $12 donation will provide a Covid-19 Kit containing: one bottle of bleach and two bars of soap, providing COVID-19 sanitation needs for one household (VOH child, his/her guardian and other orphans living in the hut, usually 5+ children) for one month.

$30 will provide food for one household for one month.

Pray — Please pray for these vulnerable children of Uganda and the frontline staff people of the Village of Hope who continue to fight for the lives of these children.

Agape International Missions (AIM)

Agape International Missions (AIM) exists to glorify God through dedicated efforts to love, protect, and care for survivors of trafficking as well as other vulnerable and exploited individuals in Cambodia. Through a holistic approach of rescuing, restoring and reintegrating survivors of trafficking and preventing sexual slavery, AIM seeks to meet survivors’ spiritual, emotional, social, educational and physical needs.

AIM is currently accepting donations in response to COVID-19 to stop Cambodian children from being sold into slavery. Since the tourism economy has been affected by COVID-19, many families’ main source of income has disappeared, putting children at greater risk of being sold. Some families haven’t eaten in days. AIM is looking to distribute over 100,000 pounds of food in Cambodia to families in need. For $25 per family, we can provide basic food and supplies for a month.
