What God Has to Say about Our Bodies
Revisit Biblical Thinking with author Sam Allberry. Sam shared with us from his latest book, “What God Has to Say about Our Bodies: How the Gospel Is Good News for Our Physical Selves,” followed by a Q&A. In “What God Has to Say about Our Bodies,” Sam reminds us that we have been “fearfully and wonderfully made” by God (Psalm 139:14) and should therefore regard our physicality as a gift from the Lord. He offers a biblical framework for understanding gender, sexuality and identity; dealing with aging, illness, and death; and points us forward to the physical future hope that we have in Christ.
