John 9

John 9 records the 6th of 7 miracles of Jesus contained in John’s Gospel. These signs were designed to be more than a bit of supernatural entertainment, they were meant to arouse curiosity about Jesus, display His power & authority, reveal His compassion and confirm His identity as the Son of God, the only One who can credibly offer to be our Redeemer and Savior. This time Jesus heals a man born blind but since it was done on the Sabbath, it heightened the tension between Jesus and the religious leaders of that time. But Jesus claimed to be the Light of the World and offered Himself to all who will believe. Join Pastor Jim for this interesting study of contrasts between how a variety of people responded differently to Jesus and to this miracle.
