John 5:1-18

We’ve all heard the phrase “God helps those who help themselves.” But in John 5:1-18 Pastor Jim shows us how the great news of the Gospel is that God helps those who cannot help themselves. In the passage, Jesus came upon a man who had been sick for 38 years. Frustrated by his circumstance and failed by everyone who claimed to love him, this man had run out of options. His condition was actually far more hopeless than he actually realized. But on the day Jesus called him out, everything would be different.
