John 2:1-12

The first miracle of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of John takes place at the celebration of a wedding. But something had gone wrong as the caterers ran out of wine before the celebration had ended. And so the last recorded words spoken by Mary, the mother of Jesus, are “Do whatever he tells you to do.” Jesus’ instructions are followed but only a few present actually notice that water had become wine. What can we learn from this supernatural intrusion of God’s power into a seemingly everyday event? How does it apply to each of us as it relates to our faith in Christ? Join Pastor Jim as he points us to the glory of God and the life transforming power of Jesus Christ.
