Our good deeds are often public, but our religious devotion should be private. This is how both can result to the glory of God.

Christian giving should be…
- Generous: sow bountifully
- Disciplined: purpose in your heart
- Cheerful: delighting as we imitate the generosity of our Father
Tithes and Offerings: Some interpret and apply these terms…
- Tithes – supporting our home church
- Offerings – spontaneous needs we encounter
- Christian giving = Whimsical generosity with a worshipful motivation.
