Yuri Pozhidaev
Yuri Pozhidaev is a Russian pastor in Moscow whose passion is to see the lives of Russian youth transformed through their relationship with Jesus Christ. He also founded the Perspektiva Youth Ministry Training School and, in 2025, will organize missionary trips to Nepal and Egypt for the Training School’s graduates. Every week, he conducts a home group for young people so that they can invite their non-believing friends. He also conducts classes with university students in Moscow coffee shops on building relationships. Yuri also leads youth and family conferences and is in demand as a guest speaker.
For the three years since the invasion of Ukraine, Yuri has held a nightly prayer meeting via Zoom. He has recently been ministering in a nursing home and a mercy home where children from the Donbas region of Ukraine with cancer are treated. He also serves people who have been affected by the war in Ukraine.
Yuri asks for prayers for his many ministries, his family’s health (he has been treated several times recently for stomach ulcers), and the opportunity to serve non-believers.
