The Belize Project
The Belize Project empowers people through restoration and wholeness for the glory of Christ.
The Belize Project partners with local leaders in Belize to support community development through education, rehabilitation, and economic opportunity. Founded over 15 years ago, the ministry works alongside Belizean communities to strengthen schools, support recovery and restoration programs, and develop sustainable economic initiatives that serve families and neighborhoods across the country.
Through TVC’s partnership, The Belize Project is currently building a “Silo Home” in the rural Toledo District of southern Belize. These homes provide safe housing for teachers and school administrators serving in remote areas, helping strengthen Christ-centered education in communities that might otherwise struggle to attract and retain educators.
Each year, mission teams from the U.S.—including groups from Nashville—travel to Belize to serve alongside local partners. These teams assist with projects related to education, economic development, rehabilitation ministries, and church planting, working under the leadership of Belizean community members already engaged in these efforts.
Volunteer opportunities include participating in mission trips, helping construct Silo Homes for educators, supporting projects connected to rehabilitation and community health ministries, and assisting with building spaces for new church plants.
