Tamar Sewing Project

The Tamar Sewing Project in India was initiated from a realization that hundreds of thousands of ladies are trapped in prostitution or human trafficking in India. The Tamar Sewing project trains ladies in sewing, giving them training in a profession so that they will never have to return to prostitution to feed their children. Helping these ladies become free from that entrapment is where justice is served. Mercy is shown daily through the full acceptance of these ladies into our Christ-centered community, and no one is forced to become Christian in order to receive rescue, feeding, medical or emotional care, and training. However, through love and grace, these ladies see Jesus (and hear about Him also) and over 90% have chosen to give their lives in service to Him as Lord.
