Safe Haven Family Shelter
Safe Haven is the premier shelter-to-housing program in Middle Tennessee that accommodates families experiencing homelessness. Through shelter and housing programs, Safe Haven can serve over 330 families annually. Families receive the following: case management, workforce development, financial literacy, children’s enrichment and education programs, and assistance in obtaining and maintaining affordable housing.
TVC has supported Safe Haven since 2007, serving as the organization’s first congregation to become a Guardian Angel –covering the costs of a family to receive services in shelter and housing. Since then, TVC has been a tremendous advocate for the organization, helping in various capacities from volunteerism, increased funding to meet critical needs and assisting with donation drives. Safe Haven is incredibly grateful for our partnership with TVC, as we partner to give families in need a place to call home.
