Organizations We Support

Porter’s Call

Since 2001, Porter’s Call has cared for the heart and soul behind the music, becoming a fixture at the intersection of music and mental health in Nashville and beyond. By offering direct care programming and additional support services, we have impacted thousands of artists and their families by journeying alongside them through the unique challenges they face on and off the stage. Porter’s Call is a safe and confidential refuge where touring recording artists and their partners can find guidance and care specifically attuned to their unique profession, FREE of charge.

Through the generous support from TVC, we have been fortunate to apply the funds toward our Sessions program, which offers direct care for individuals, couples, and bands. Your contributions helped to cover the cost of approximately one full year of sessions for 2 artists in 2024.

Our annual Evening of Stories event will return to the Fisher Center at Belmont University on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. This special night features distinguished storytellers and artists in the round, sharing remarkable stories through word and song. While this is our pinnacle fundraiser of the year, we think of it as an opportunity to delight in the coming together of our community. We are seeking volunteers to help with this year’s Evening of Stories planning efforts and would welcome your help!
