Organizations We Support
Path United
Path United builds positive relationships with children and teens, helping them grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. The organization began in 2008 when Jim and Melinda Hollandsworth started helping a few children in a nearby mobile home community with their homework. As they built relationships with the kids and their families, they saw the powerful impact of combining practical support with the love of Christ. Today, Path United works alongside community leaders, churches, and local schools to equip young people and strengthen communities.
TVC partners specifically with Path United at Franklin Estates, a mobile home community near downtown Franklin. The Franklin Estates program provides a safe and encouraging place for middle and high school students to build relationships, receive support, explore educational and career opportunities, and grow in confidence and character. What began as a small program has grown into a thriving ministry and is helping shape a model for future expansion.
There are several ways TVCers can serve with Path United, including providing meals for students, participating in family service days, and sharing your career experience with students through workplace visits. Volunteers can serve alongside students and staff or provide practical support that helps create a welcoming and consistent community for young people.
