Langham Partnership
Like their founder, John Stott, Langham Partnership believes all churches deserve a well-trained pastor. That’s why they train preachers across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, where 80% lack formal Bible training. Since 1969, Langham Partnership has become a global movement Tim Keller called a “game changer.” Today, because of God’s grace and faithful partners who share their heart for the global church, the ministry serves in 140 nations worldwide—training grassroots pastors (Langham Preaching Program), providing evangelical books and supporting indigenous biblical publishers and authors (Langham Literature Program), and providing Ph.D. scholarships for emerging theological leaders (Langham Scholars Program).
TVC is currently partnering with Langham to provide the resources needed for Central and Eastern Europe. The current war has disrupted theological education, as Ukraine has served as a theological hub in the region for many years. God’s Word has tremendous potential to bring reconciliation, healing, and community transformation. However, the church needs more trained leaders, and Langham, with TVC’s help, is working to address that through each of its three programs.
Outside of Central and Eastern Europe, Langham held 439 preaching training seminars last year, equipping 13,900+ pastors and lay leaders in 79 countries, supported 99 PhD students from 46 countries pursuing theological studies, and distributed nearly 220,000 books globally, with almost 90,000 books distributed digitally to places where physical books are hard to deliver. Langham is incredibly thankful for TVC’s partnership in this global work!
