Job Responsibilities:
Communications
- Serves as the project manager and team leader for the Creative Services Team (CST), ensuring projects and tasks are completed in a timely, excellent and professional manner consistent with TVC’s vision, goals and branding.
- Work with the Creative Director, Leadership Team and staff to continually improve and develop communications processes and define priorities to create an environment in which messages can be communicated clearly, creatively and effectively.
- Oversees electronic and printed communications for special events, programs and worship services. This includes the weekly email, website, social media, and mobile platforms. Work closely with our graphic designer and video editors to maintain a standard of excellence and quality consistent with TVC’s DNA.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to write and develop original copy for all associated TVC media and manage the ongoing communication content needs.
- Manage the gathering of communications info from staff and ministry leadership via comm forms and other organizational tools.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to maintain the brand consistency, character and DNA of The Village Chapel across all methods and means of communication.
- Media development and editing
- ProPresenter
- Build weekly ProPresenter for TVC worship services in coordination with CST and production team.
- Develop an understanding TVC’s ProPresenter needs and create a system/team for ongoing sustainability.
- Edit weekly sermon, sermon clips and hymn of the week for YouTube and social media, in coordination with CST and production team.
- As needed, edit audio, video and graphics for various projects.
- Other special projects as needed and directed by the Creative Director or Leadership Team.

Digital Strategy
- Social media and website
- Develop a sustainable strategy to grow engagement with our TVC website and various social media platforms, with the aim of developing faithful disciples of Jesus.
- Identify and track key metrics across all digital platforms to measure engagement and growth to help determine allocation of resources, time and team effort.
- Podcasts and YouTube
- Maintain a regular pulse on best practices to sustain growth and engagement with our flagship podcasts and video content.

- Creative Thinking podcast
- Biblical Thinking and Creative Thinking events
- TVC Worship music
- Maintain a curious and open approach to exploring new promotion and outreach strategies. Stay informed on what other like-minded ministries and organizations are implementing, and be adaptable to new ideas that could enhance our impact in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
- Maintain a regular pulse on best practices to sustain growth and engagement with our flagship podcasts and video content.
- Biblical Resources
- Continue to develop and grow the TVC online Biblical Resources library, working with the Leadership Team and staff to add more resources (both internal and external) to grow a deeper well of biblical wisdom on key themes.
- Work with the CST to continue development on our quarterly resources email newsletter which highlights new content and resurfaces content from our resources library.
