Prayer of Humility
Lord, we humble ourselves before You
and we acknowledge Your splendor,
Your greatness, Your majesty,
and Your Sovereign rule in our lives.
You are God, You are Holy,
and You are worthy.
We are Your people
and we come before You
with grateful hearts,
knowing that You have bid us come.
You must increase, Lord, and we must decrease.
We long to see things the way You see things
and we want to want the things You want.
Give us Your eyes and Your heart,
fill us with Your Holy Spirit.
This we pray in the name of Jesus Christ,
our Lord. Amen!
