About TVC Youth
Our Mission:
TVC Youth exists to introduce middle school and high school students at The Village Chapel to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith.
Our Vision:
- Living life with Jesus (relationship with the Living God)
- Becoming like Jesus (Sanctification)
- Doing what He said (Great Commision/obedience)
How we accomplish our mission:
- Go: We will meet students on their turf and walk through life with them, by both seeking new students to engage and furthering our relationships with those we know. We accomplish this with small group leaders and student leaders, showing up at students events and meeting at homes of families.
- Community: We want students to experience what it looks like to follow Jesus with other believers. We accomplish this by meeting in small groups, having student and small group leader interactions and having retreats and events.
- Teach: We want students to understand and apply the Word of God to their lives. We accomplish this by having Bible studies on Wednesday night, Sunday morning and in small groups, and by challenging students to develop quite time rhythms on their own time.
