TVC Tornado Response

Our congregation has been incredible operating as the hands and feet of Jesus during a time that has been trying for so many. The response has been overwhelming.

Many of our congregants, especially those in the East Nashville community, were directly impacted by the recent Nashville tornado – some catastrophically affected. We have been actively responding to these needs as we learn of them. Thanks to your generosity, we have a fund that has been distributed to those in need. This fund helps cover the real, tangible costs that most of us do not think of when disaster strikes. Clothes, food, prescriptions are all very real needs that are quickly lost in these events. These funds help get individuals the items they need in the present moment.

We were also able to provide financial support to Samaritan’s Purse and Convoy of Hope. These are two organizations that are masterful at mobilizing in an emergency. They are already working in areas of crisis on the spot. We all want to be able to help immediately however we may lack the skill or equipping for the work needed. These professionals have been wonderful at caring for those in our community.

In the coming weeks and months, there will be countless needs for us to fill. Please continue to stay tuned to this page for how you can serve those in our church and community.
