Hearing a teen say, “Today I found my future!” is the hope of Touchstone Youth Resource Services. Touchstone’s mission is to inspire change by helping youth envision a hopeful future, embrace positive options, and engage in real steps toward a better life. Our community is at risk…at risk of losing teens to discouragement, despair, and sadly, even death. Research shows that far too many students lack the social and emotional resources they need to build a successful life. The work of Touchstone is to see that young people are restore to the life God intended for them. Currently, Touchstone is providing weekly small groups and individual sessions at Hillsboro, James Lawson and John Overton High Schools, Nashville School of the Arts, and Oliver Middle School. Touchstone also provides monthly service-learning projects and enrichment opportunities related to the arts and outdoors.
