Two or three words people who know me might use to describe me:
Cheerful, consistent

If I had all day to do whatever I wanted, you might find me…:
Exploring new places, trying something new probably by myself.

Favorite place to eat out:
In-N-Out Burger

Best nickname I’ve had:

Describe your overall temperament:
Positive, cheerful

I was raised:
In church

When I feel far from the Lord, one of the things that helps me is:
Music and nature

Biblical character, story, or passage that has particular meaning/significance:
1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all you cares upon him for he cares for you” was the first verse I memorized and even made a plaque.

A couple of authors who have had an impact on my spiritual life:
Frances Chan & King David

Some people who have inspired my spiritual life over the years:
Kim O., my camp counselor became my college roommate (a wise woman who listens, pauses, then speaks), Roxanne N., my best friend from college (we cry and laugh, really loud, together. Everything is a gift from the Lord. Ginny B., a prayer warrior/mentor always ready with a smile (“you say you love Jesus, you’d better tell your face”), Janda H., a dear friend bonded by student ministry and our sons are best friends (such a wise woman).

Something valuable that someone told me early on about walking with the Lord:
He will NEVER let me down, or leave me alone. EVER.

Something I wish someone had told me sooner about walking with the Lord:
My uniqueness is valued. I am His Creation and I should not feel shame for who I am.

I was drawn to serve in the “Let’s Have Coffee Ministry” because:
I like spending time one on one listening and sharing with others. The Lord has been showing opportunities and leading me to something just like this. I’m excited to get involved.
