This Week at TVC

Julia Parobek Art Opening

Stop by the Living Room after any service on Sunday, March 31, for a reception to celebrate the opening of Julia Parobek’s new show, The Botanical Zoo, in the TVC Gallery (aka the Living Room at TVC Main). Grab a cup of coffee, take in the artwork and meet the artist. With her art, Parobek celebrates the joy of seasons and events and the delicate details of creation. She is very excited to share the current tenants of her zoo, and hopes that you fall in love with them the way she has! More info in this week's bulletin feature.

Youth Family Climb

This is an event for the whole family, so come on out to The Crag in Nashville on March 29 from 6-9 pm. The cost is $15 per person, and while there’s no signup needed, anyone participating needs to fill out an online release form before attending. The Crag is located at 15115 Old Hickory Blvd.

Are you interested in finding out more about a January 2020 short-term missions trip to Cuba with TVC and the American Bible Society? Then come to an informational meeting on Sunday, March 31, at 10 am in the Conference Room at TVC Main. We’ll talk about our plans to serve the community by distributing Bibles, leading vacation Bible school-type activities with kids and encouraging and supporting local leadership and pastors. We are considering a seven-day trip with a one-day excursion to Havana. Come find out more about this unique opportunity to minister. Questions? TVC East Monthly Potluck

If you regularly attend TVC East, we hope you’ll make plans to join us immediately after the service this Sunday, March 17, for our Monthly Potluck! It’s a great way to build community among those who call TVC East home. No RSVP necessary, but don’t forget to bring a dish to share!

With Hope In Mind

TVC’s own Bill and Mary Jean Murphy facilitate this family member and caregiver support group in association with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The faith-based group meets the fourth Sunday of each month, so join us for our next meeting on March 24 at 3 pm in the Chapel at TVC East.

Hymn Sing: Wesley & Watts

Join us on Sunday night, March 24, when we come together for a new type of TVC Hymn Sing. We’ll gather at 6 pm in the Chapel at TVC Main to praise God through the hymns of these well-known songwriters while also learning more about the men behind the music.
