Prayer of Humility
Lord, we humble ourselves before You
and we acknowledge Your splendor,
Your greatness, Your majesty,
and Your Sovereign rule in our lives.
You are God, You are Holy,
and You are worthy.
We are Your people
and we come before You
with grateful hearts,
knowing that You have bid us come.
You must increase, Lord, and we must decrease.
We long to see things the way You see things
and we want to want the things You want.
Give us Your eyes and Your heart,
fill us with Your Holy Spirit.
This we pray in the name of Jesus Christ,
our Lord. Amen!

I Give You Thanks, O God, My Redeemer!
For the power You have given me to lay hold of things unseen,
For the strong sense I have
that this world is not my home,
For a restless heart,
which nothing finite can satisfy,
I give You thanks, O God, my Redeemer!
For the invasion of my soul
by the Holy Spirit,
For conviction of sin,
for your grace and forgiveness,
For the fullness of Your glory poured out in Jesus,
I give You thanks, O God, my Redeemer!
Bring light to my darkness
and clarity to my soul.
Make me eager to profit from
spending time in Your presence
and draw passionate and authentic worship from my heart this day.
Grant me both the wisdom and courage to obey Your Word and
I will give You thanks, O God, my Redeemer!

World Vision provides emergency assistance during national disasters and civil conflict and they work with communities to develop lasting solutions to the root causes of poverty and injustice. They provide education, access to clean water, healthcare, sustainable food resources, economic development, and child protection and sponsorship. Currently responding to COVID-19, they are focused on areas where children are most at risk: areas of conflict, urban slums and refugee settlements. To find out more visit worldvision.org.

Almighty and Eternal God
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are hidden from my sight:
You are beyond my understanding,
Your thoughts are not my thoughts,
Your ways are a mystery.
Yet You make a way for me to find You, to be found by You.
You have breathed your Spirit into me.
You have formed my mind to seek You.
You have inclined my heart to love You.
You have made me restless for the rest that is in You.
You have planted within me a hunger and thirst,
only satisfied by the Bread of Life, the Living Water.
Thank You, for Your waiting presence, Your tender mercies,
Your unshaming forgiveness,
Your pursuing love,
Your trustworthy refuge, thank You for courage for what You call me to.
Today, tomorrow and the next,
We give You praise, honor and glory,
Almighty, and Eternal God.

O Lord Our God
O Lord our God, who inhabits eternity,
The heavens declare Your glory,
The earth belongs to You,
You fill the universe with Your presence
You have created us for Your pleasure
And filled us with life.
In You we live and move and have our being.
Your providence has set the boundaries of life
And You wisely administer all our affairs.
We thank you for the riches we have in Christ Jesus,
For the unclouded vision He brings of You,
That we may behold Your beauty,
Your character and grace,
And that we may know Your love and mercy.
In the matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

My Help Comes From The Lord
I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all evil;
He will keep your life.
The Lord will keep Your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and forevermore.

Father, all powerful and ever-living God,
We do well always and everywhere to give you thanks through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You, O Father, with your only begotten Son and with the Holy Spirit are God.
You are God, one and immortal;
You are God, incorruptible and unmoving;
You are God, invisible and faithful;
You are God, wonderful and worthy of praise;
You are God, strong and worthy of honor;
You are God, most high and magnificent;
You are God, living and true;
We believe you, we bless you, we adore you.
We praise you through Christ who is the salvation of our souls; through Christ who is the resurrection of the dead.
Through Christ the angels praise your majesty; he powers of the heavens tremble.
So grant, we pray you, that our voices may be admitted to the heavenly chorus, in humble declaration of your glory!

There is None Like You
From Psalm 86
There is none like you, O Lord, Nor are there any works like yours.
All the nations you have made shall come And worship before you, O Lord, And glorify your name.
For you are great and do wondrous things; You alone are God.
Teach us your way, O Lord, That we may walk in your truth; Unite our hearts to fear your name.

I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.

Psalm 100
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is He who made us, and we are His;
We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
Give thanks to Him and praise His name.
For the LORD is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.

A Prayer For This Day
Heavenly Father, take this day into Your own keeping.
Control my thoughts and feelings.
Direct my ambitions and energies.
Instruct my mind. Direct my will.
Take my hands and make them skillful to serve You.
Take my feet and make them swift to do Your bidding.
Open my eyes and help them see truth and beauty.
Give my mouth eloquence in speaking of Your grace,
mercy and love.
Make this day a day of eager obedience to You.
Make this day a day overflowing with spiritual joy
and peace.
Make this day a day of rest in the glorious truths of the
Gospel of grace.
Make this day a day we delight in Your presence as we
gather together to worship You
