As the kids head back to school, TVC is prepping to launch a new round of programming too. We’ll kick off our fall semester a little early this year, with many groups and studies beginning the week of August 15 and other programming rolling out throughout the fall. Here’s a preview of what we have planned:
These weekly or every-other-week gatherings are one of the best ways to find deeper community. Choose from more than three dozen Home Groups, which will begin meeting again in mid-August, and we’d love have you join one. Go to homegroups.thevillagechapel.com to find out more.
This fall, women can choose from studies at 7 pm on Monday night at TVC Main (going through the devotional book, HIStory in 30 Days, led by Natalie Walkley in the Den), 7 am Wednesday morning at TVC East (C.S. Lewis’ The Problem of Pain led by Christi Schroader in the Green Room), or Wednesday morning at 10 am at TVC Main (I Thessalonians led by Molly Jones in the Living Room or New Moms led by Susan Love in the Family Room). All begin the week of August 15 except for New Moms, which will return September 7.
Table for 8
This casual opportunity to get to know other TVCers with similar interests through monthly dinners returns for fall. Signups start August 21 for groups that will meet in September, October and November.
This year’s Promotion Sunday will take place on August 21, with new kindergarteners moving downstairs and some younger kids transitioning from Nursery to Preschool.
Also stay tuned for a Dessert & Discussion on the topic of adoption on August 30, adult Sunday school classes beginning in September, Addison’s Walk on September 27 and our annual Fall Potluck in late October.
