Is the message of the Bible really good news for everyone? Is the God of the Bible truly a champion of the oppressed? We’ll be exploring the topic of “Why Religion?” in the season kick-off of our “Biblical Thinking Series: The Big Whys” monthly series. Led by Josh Pardy, we’ll be diving into life’s challenging questions, featuring videos from the Zacharias Trust Foundation. Make plans to join us in the Family Room at the Hillsboro Village Campus on September 4 at 6:30 pm as part of our First Wednesdays. RSVP for childcare below.
Childcare is provided for many of the events and studies offered by TVC. This is free to parents with an online reservation. Simply find the event title below and click the link to reserve childcare for your child/children. If you get the “We’re Sorry. The form has expired and is no longer available” message, that means the event is less than 48 away, and childcare reservations have closed. You can email [email protected] to see if there are any spots left.
Please submit an RSVP by NOON Friday for any of your children that will be in the Nursery on Sunday (includes ALL babies or toddlers). We want to ensure we maintain a low child-to-volunteer ratio for our smallest TVCers. Reservations are not needed for preschool or elementary-age children.
*IF you are making a late reservation (after noon on Friday), please check in at the Volunteer Desk as we may need you to stay and help with the children.
*Email [email protected] with any Sunday cancellations or questions.
We appreciate your effort to help us do our best to serve you and your family!
48-hour Childcare Notice — In order to be wise stewards of the resources and wonderful childcare staff at The Village Chapel, we request 48-hour notice for all childcare reservations connected to events at TVC. If you are requesting a childcare reservation for any of events, studies or gatherings, be sure to submit your reservation no later than 48 hours prior to the event. If you try to reserve childcare and get a “form no longer available” message, the event is less than 48 hours away, so you’ll need to email [email protected] to see if there is space available. If we don’t receive any reservations by the 48-hour deadline, we will cancel childcare for that event. If you have submitted a reservation and find you are unable to attend, please email [email protected] to cancel your reservation out of courtesy to our staff. Thanks for your help!
As we look forward to the leaves turning and a crisp breeze in the air, we’ll be kicking off a new season of our “First Wednesdays” series this fall! Join us at the Hillsboro Village Campus on September 4 for an evening for congregants of all ages. Our Biblical Thinking: The Big Whys series will gather at 6:30 pm in the Living Room. We’ll be diving into life’s challenging questions, with videos from the Zacharias Trust Foundation, followed by a discussion led by Josh Pardy. The TVC Kids Worship Arts will be hosting the family favorite STOMP at 6 pm in the Living Room while the Youth Group continue to meet in the Attic.
All women of The Village Chapel are invited to join us for our Fall Women’s Studies happening at both campuses at various days and times during the week. These groups will all be starting a new series called “Fundamentals of Faith”, a study focused on The New City Catechism. This is a wonderful way to meet other women in our church in similar life stages and strengthen your faith in a group setting.
