New Teaching Series
TVC’s newest art show opens Sunday, October 15. Stop by the Living Room after any of our worship services at TVC Main to view "The Art of Community: A Belmont-Hillsboro Home Group Collaborative” and visit with some of the artists.
TVC’s own Bill and Mary Jean Murphy facilitate this family member and caregiver support group in association with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The faith-based group meets the fourth Sunday of each month, so join us for our next meeting on October 22 at 3 pm in the Green Room at TVC East.
TVC’s next Water Baptism service will be held Monday, November 6, at 6:30 pm at TVC East. If you or your child is interested in getting baptized, please attend one of two identical informational meetings on October 22 at 10 am in the prayer area at TVC East or October 29 at 11:15 am in the Bonus Room at TVC Main. You can fill out a Water Baptist Interest Form HERE.
Find some inspiration at the next Creative Arts Potluck on Friday, October 27, at 7 pm in the Living Room at TVC Main. Bring a dish to share and hear from artists featured in our new show, "The Art of Community: A Belmont-Hillsboro Home Group Collaborative.” We’ll also enjoy music by Kenny Foster. Childcare is available for Nursery and Preschool (older kids are welcome at the event). RSVP for the event and childcare HERE.
TVC Women have another opportunity to participate in a professional self-defense training session with TVC’s own Josh Johnson. Join us Saturday, October 28 from 9:30 am to 2 pm in the Living Room at TVC Main. The $10 fee includes lunch. Space is limited to 25 participants, so sign up HERE.
Our next event in TVC’s Addison’s Walk series will take place on Sunday, October 29 at 11:30 am in the Family Room at TVC Main. Moving from a weeknight to Sunday morning, this installment addresses a struggle for both Christians and non-Christians. We’ll gather together to view a video lecture by Vince Vitale, a Ravi Zacharias Ministry speaker, followed by a time to debrief and discuss afterward led by Andrew Bissell.
This is important traffic and road construction information especially for those who attend TVC East. Please make plans in advance for an alternate route.
I-24 will be closed from the I-24/I-65 split north of downtown to the I-24/I-40 split south of downtown, for the bridge rehabilitation project. All scheduled WEEKEND closures are TENTATIVE, dependent on weather and project progress.
The interstate detour will remain the same for all four weekends. Additionally, various parts of the project will be done at night and during off-peak travel times and may require temporary lane closures. Detours on local streets will be dependent upon specific bridge work.
